SydWest Multicultural Services celebrates NSW Seniors Festival 2020 with a special Bowling, Disco and Lunch event. Trophies for Bowlers/Team with highest scores will be awarded on the day.
International Women’s Day celebrates the positive contribution of women in our community. This year, entertaining and informative events held in Penrith and Blacktown.
In addition, the Greater Western Sydney Multicultural Women’s Network launched at the Blacktown International Women’s Day event.
A celebratory day of entertainment, children’s activities, cultural stalls, storytelling, food and more – bringing the community together to celebrate and drive harmony in the community.
The Seniors Christmas Party is held in honour of our seniors groups participants and frail aged clients who come together each year to celebrate with others.
SydWest Multicultural Services has partnered with SSI-Ability Links and Blacktown City Council to undertake a pilot project aimed at improving economic outcomes for job seekers from refugee and migrant backgrounds, as well as people with disability in the Blacktown LGA.
This community event is open to new arrival men to learn more about the role of men in families and Australian society in a relaxed setting.
Our annual Family Fun & Father’s Day is held during the September holidays to bring together families from across the multicultural community in a fun and informative event for all ages.
Held in June, 2017, Refugee Week is a chance for all Australians to celebrate the courage and resilience of our refugee community who have made Australia their home. The Blacktown event gives our long-term residents the opportunity to connect with some of our newest Australians.
