Mothers Support Groups starting again after school holidays, from 20 July – join today!

SydWest Multicultural Services in partnership with others proudly hosted the Blacktown Community Services Expo in October 2016. Local community service providers and established community organisations took part in this free community event designed to inform and connect people with their local community.

Our annual Family Fun & Father’s Day is held during the September holidays to bring together families from across the multicultural community in a fun and informative event for all ages.

Join us on Thursday 23 June as we celebrate Refugee Week in Blacktown. Drawing on the diverse stories and talent from our young refugee community, we have teamed up with local schools who have a significant refugee student population to bring a youth focus to the day.

SydWest Multicultural Services many multicultural seniors celebrate Seniors Week by taking part in a day of cultural celebrations and demonstrations that acknowledge their contribution to our local community.

This year, women from our Mother’s groups, Women’s Support Groups and Multicultural Support Groups will be treated to a day of workshops, entertainment and information stalls as part of International Women’s Day events in Blacktown and Penrith.000

SydWest Multicultural Services celebrates NSW Seniors Festival 2020 with a special Bowling, Disco and Lunch event. Trophies for Bowlers/Team with highest scores will be awarded on the day.

Each year, SydWest Multicultural Services and Sathya SAI International Organization of Australia and PNG (NSW Region West) hold the annual Seniors Multicultural Christmas for our many frail aged clients who come together each year to celebrate with each other.

Our annual event is our opportunity to recognise and thank our many volunteers from across the community who provide invaluable support to our programs, services and events each year. Part of National Volunteers Week.

International Women’s Day celebrates the positive contribution of women in our community. This year, entertaining and informative events held in Penrith and Blacktown.

In addition, the Greater Western Sydney Multicultural Women’s Network launched at the Blacktown International Women’s Day event.

A celebratory day of entertainment, children’s activities, cultural stalls, storytelling, food and more – bringing the community together to celebrate and drive harmony in the community.

The Seniors Christmas Party is held in honour of our seniors groups participants and frail aged clients who come together each year to celebrate with others.

This community event is open to new arrival men to learn more about the role of men in families and Australian society in a relaxed setting.
