Settlement Engagement & Transition Support (SETS)

Casework and support to help you settle, build independence, and become part of your community.

Who this is for

Permanent residents who’ve been in Australia for less than five years and arrived as humanitarian entrants or family-stream migrants with low English, holders of family and partner visas, dependents of skilled migrants, and other selected visa streams.

What we offer

Our experienced generalist case workers listen to your needs and give you the tools to build independence. We provide casework and support across the priority issues of settling in, including:

  • Employment, education and training
  • Housing
  • English language
  • Health and family support
  • Transport, civic participation and justice

Casework, group sessions and community activities run in Blacktown, Mt Druitt and Penrith.

How it works
