Supported Independent Living
A supportive home where you can live independently, with the everyday care and supervision you need.
Who this is for
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is for adults with disability who want to move out of the family home and build greater independence, with support always on hand. We provide tailored assistance that adapts as your needs change. You design the support you need — we help make it happen — so your home is not just a place to live, but a place to thrive.
What we offer
Our SIL homes offer tailored support and supervision to help you live more independently, including:
- Personalised assistance with daily tasks
- Comprehensive personal care support
- Meal preparation
- Skill-building to foster greater independence
- Short breaks and trial stays so you can experience independent living
How it works
- Contact us to talk about what you are looking for in a home.
- We discuss your eligibility, your goals, and current vacancies, and can arrange a tour.
- You move in — for a short break, a trial stay, or a permanent home — with our team supporting you.
Can I get this?
SIL is for adults over 18 whose NDIS plan includes SIL funding. Some of our homes are Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and need both SDA and SIL funding in your plan. If you are unsure what your plan covers, contact us and we will help you work it out.
