Centre-Based Respite

Enjoy a welcoming and engaging day out with SydWest’s Centre-Based Respite Program at Glenwood Community Hub. Running from 10am to 2pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the program supports older people to stay active, connected and involved in their community while providing carers with valuable time to rest and recharge.

Participants can choose to attend one or more days each week, depending on what suits their needs and interests. Activities include arts and crafts, gentle exercise, wellbeing programs, excursions, digital skills sessions, guest speakers and opportunities to make lasting friendships. Morning tea and a hot lunch are provided, creating a friendly and supportive environment where seniors can enjoy positive ageing, social connection and fun.
