SydWest Multicultural Services is an NDIS registered provider and supports CALD communities to access NDIS services.
For those eligible, the NDIS means gaining greater choice and control over their disability services.

We will match you with a bilingual care worker who is trained in specialist areas, and has the appropriate qualifications and experience to fit your needs

We work with you to ensure you have control and choice over the support you receive whilst helping you to get the skills you need to do more things for yourself and be part of the community.
We can provide you with the following services under the NDIS:
- Support coordination
- Assistance with personal activities
- Assistance with household tasks
- Life Skills development
- Participation in community, social and civic activities
How do I apply?
Through the NDIS assessment and planning process, you can determine what support you need to live your day to day life and to achieve your personal goals.
If you are a person with disability and you meet the NDIS access requirements you can become a participant in the scheme. We can provide personalised advice and begin your journey towards a brighter future.

Implementing your NDIS plan
Our NDIS support coordinators will:
- Support you to understand and navigate the NDIS.
- Assist you to implement support services that are based on your NDIS goals.
- Work with you to achieve your short, medium and long term NDIS goals and link you to funded, mainstream and community services.
- Provide you with information in your language and support you to understand service agreements, roster of supports and charges for service delivery.

We will help you to feel more confident about managing your support and implementing your plan

A flexible approach
We can tailor our assistance to suit your changing circumstances and can support you in crisis situation e.g. emergency relief and no-interest loans

Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP)
NDIA have introduced the TTP in the NDIS price guide. From 1 July 2019, providers of attendant care and community-based activities can charge a higher TTP rate.

SydWest Multicultural Services is a Registered Temporary Provider (TTP).
SydWest Multicultural Services must follow some TTP requirements outlined by the NDIA. We have followed these requirements and charge TTP pricing to a range of support categories.

Our Community Connection Coordinator (CCC) met John (not his real name) and his brother after receiving a referral from Fairfield Hospital. Upon visiting the brothers at their home in South West Sydney, our staff discovered that the brothers were not receiving any supports and were not managing at all to live on their own.
