If you have a big heart and want to make a difference in people’s lives, a career in Home Care supporting seniors to live independently might be right for you. Jump the job queue and have the chance to land a role on the spot at our Employment Accelerator events.
This event may be for you if you already have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support – Ageing or you’re just starting out and want to find out more about possible positions, on-the-job training and qualifications (some fee free).
You can meet local employers in person, cutting through the usual application process. If you don’t find a job on the day, you can share your details for future openings.

Who is this for?
- Compassionate people who find it rewarding to contribute to the lives of others
- Residents of Greater Western Sydney, especially if you speak a second language
- Anyone who has qualifications in Individual Support – Ageing or similar (though not essential)
What do you need for a job in Home Care?
- Driver’s license and access to a fully registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- Personal smart phone & internet access
- Minimum 3 day per week availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts between Monday and Friday
- Current Australian National Police check
- Current Working with Children check
- Current First Aid Certificate
What do you need to bring on the day?
- A copy of your CV/resume
- Your driver’s licence, registration and insurance
- Any certificates relating to relevant qualifications
- Police and Working with Children Check. If you don’t have these, we can help you apply.
